May 26-28 Tall Timbers Trip

Our next member event is the trip to Tall Timbers Marina for the Memorial Day weekend, May 26-28. TO SIGN UP you need to call Rick and his team at Tall Timbers at 301-994-1508. Tell them you are a WYA member. We have a group reservation at the end of the fuel dock. Call soon as the event will fill up quickly and Rick will give up those slips loosely held for us. PLEASE email philbolin@mvapolonia.com if you do sign up so we’ll know who is coming. More info here.

Cobb Island Summer Kick Off Party on June 15-17

Seven member boats attending: Rutean Pleasure, Saylor's Delight, Apolonia, Summer "C", Constant II, SS Ritter, and Patriot. Go to 2012 Calendar for June to get registration packets if you want to go. Ensure you email Peggy Saylor (psaylor@ymail.com) also so she can coordinate boats being berthed together.

PRYCA Float-In, July 13-15

A major priority right now is for all WYA members planning to attend the Potomac River Yacht Club Association Float In to register. Four boats are now signed up. If you want to go email Phil Bolin (philbolin@mvapolonia.com) and send in the Req Pg 2 form with your check to PRYCA. Information is available at this link.

We're a virtual club with members that enjoy the water. Members own power boats and sail boats, and a few do not currently have boats. Becoming a member is easy. More info.

The "Boat Facts" page has links to helpful sites and articles that may be of interest to local boaters. More info.

We enjoy boating and socializing as you can see on our "Past Events" page. We've already started making history for 2012! More info.
